The NHS is inviting the public to participate in shaping the future use of health data to improve patient care through a series of engagement events starting in the new year and continuing until March 2025. These events will focus on topics such as the Federated Data Platform, which aims to streamline NHS data for faster diagnoses and reduced wait times. The engagement is supported by up to £2 million in funding and builds on the ‘Powered by Data’ campaign launched in June, which highlighted the benefits of health data, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
